Playb3yond

With only days until the new Play Station 3 is released and gamers all over the world in a mindless craze to get their hands on Sony's highly anticipated (and extremely highly Link to Playb3ond.compriced) PlayStation 3 console, can get a taste of what's to come and plunge into the hype by checking out the new teaser website called Playb3yond.com.

From here you can explore the power of the new PS3 console, or interact with the site with a series of well-placed mouse clicks revealing a hidden code on the wall, written in a strange alphabet of symbols taken from the PS3's controller. So if you're a hardcore programmer or aspiring hacker and can crack the code, you will unlock all sorts of bonus features, including game trailers and developer interviews.

I'm very impressed with this website created by Tequila/L.A - nice work guys! There is certainly some fantastic flash work involved with the secret code, not to mention the way this was all seamlessly put together into a site that isn't too overweighted.

Lynx Jet Planet

So the Lynxjet is flying that mile high club once more, this is the newest release of the award-winning Lowe Hunt campaign for the Lynx deodorant brand. For this campaign update, the destination for the "male fantasy-on-wings" is none other than Lynxjet Planet, an online mating game in which the sexy Lynxjet "Mostesses" become your personal tour guides and lead players through virtual cities like Tokyo, New York and Stockholm - your quest is to charm as many local ladies as you can! Anyway you can.

It's an impressive site, although id recommend turning down your volume before placing your courser over any of the ladies! Unfortunately, to play the Leisure Suit Larry style game you need to fill out a registration form with about 10 fields! But it may just be worth it ;)

2006 Pubcon in Vegas

So PubCon in Vegas was again an enormous hit.
With probably 2000+ webmasters from around the world turning up to watch, listen, learn and question all the big name speakers from the likes of Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Ask.com and Search Engine Watch - just to name a few, actually more like 2% of the number of speakers at the event.

Matt Cutts was a huge star again, with a following bigger than 50cents entourage!

I'll up date this post with an overview of some of the topics covered as soon as I can. Meanwhile, the next big event on the calendar is Search Engine Strategies Chicago 2006 and would be well worth the visit if your in the neighbourhood.

Here we go!

Well, welcome to my blog.
I'll aim to become a resource for all Web & Interactive minded people. I'll address things like the latest interactive work from around the world - discuss why it works, why it doesn't and what they could have done better. Even touch on the power of colour, rules of design and the evolution of usability.

A big part of this will be dedicated to Google.
I'll discuss strategy, give tips and advice, tackle the hard questions and address all the latest problems, issues and questions in relation to SEM & SEO.

As im also one of the biggest fans of Flash (Adobe Flash, now doesn't that sound funny!) I'll post pleanty of tips and tricks, scripts and give as many good examples as I can. The future of flash will be a hot topic with the next release - the first under Adobe's control. Also Adobe Flex is really starting to work its way into the market with a multitude of fantastic uses.

So stay tuned & Welcome!
